1Loans subject to approval. 2"APR” is Annual Percentage Rate. Advertised “as low as” annual percentage rates (APR) assume excellent borrower credit history. Your actual APR may differ and will be based upon several factors, including credit history, model year, term, and loan amount. A loan on a new conventional vehicle (up to 2 years old) with the lowest advertised interest rate of 3.99% (4.073% APR) for $25,000.00 over 60 months would have a monthly payment of $459.57. A loan on a new electric vehicle (up to 2 years old) with an interest rate of 3.99% (4.059% APR) for 72 months would have a monthly payment of $390.40. Additional rates and terms are available. Advertised rates are available on loans applications submitted from April 1 through June 30, 2025. Rates subject to change. 3Term of 84 months only available for vehicles up to 2 years old and loan amounts of at least $35,000. 4Existing HOPE vehicle loans must be in good standing and be at least 12 months old to be eligible for this offer.

Easy, Fast, Secure: IDCheck Protects Against Fraud with a Simple QR Code Beginning May 1, 2025, credit union members using the Shared Branching network will benefit from a new, secure identity verification process, IDCheck. With account takeover fraud on the rise, this added layer of protection ensures that when you access your account in person, especially at locations outside the HOPE network, we can verify that it’s really you. Suppose you're visiting a Shared Branch location. In that case, especially if you have an out-of-state ID, staff can quickly and securely verify your identity using a QR code and multi-factor authentication. Here's how it works. - Scan the QR code posted at participating Shared Branch locations, or visit verify.coop.org.
- Select “Hope Credit Union” from the drop-down menu.
- Enter your member number and the last four digits of your Social Security number.
- Upload a photo of your ID.
- Take a quick selfie for secure facial matching.
That’s it! Quick, easy, and secure. This new fraud prevention measure is part of our ongoing commitment to keep your finances safe, no matter where you bank.

HOPE Expands HBCU Support with Landmark $15 Million Talladega College Investment HOPE signaled its ongoing commitment to historically black colleges and universities (HBCUs) with a $15 million working capital loan to Talladega College to empower the college to restructure its balance sheet and bolster its long-term viability. The Talladega loan is the latest example of HOPE’s alliance with HBCUs to increase economic mobility in the Deep South. To date, HOPE has supported 26 HBCU’s across the Deep South and generated over $60 million in investments. “Our support for HBCUs is about more than dollars, or even the institutions themselves — it is an investment in the economy of the entire nation. When HBCUs succeed, they equip our future workforce, future entrepreneurs and future leaders to drive an economy where everyone can prosper,” said HOPE CEO, Bill Bynum. HOPE invites HBCUs, community development partners, and philanthropic organizations to collaborate in shaping a more prosperous future. Learn more about HOPE’s HBCU Resource.
